Hello!

A Qualified Specialist Dyslexia Teacher based in Surrey

With over 20 years of experience teaching in both state and independent schools, I bring a deep understanding of how to support children in reaching their full potential.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of leading Key Stage 1 and Early Years, working closely with children and families to ensure every child receives the tailored support they need to thrive—both academically and emotionally.

As an accredited specialist dyslexia teacher and holder of a Certificate in Educational Testing, I am passionate about creating inclusive, individualised learning strategies that build confidence, resilience, and real progress.

I believe that every child deserves to feel successful in their learning journey. That’s why I use evidence-based, multisensory teaching methods, always adapting my approach to suit each child’s unique strengths, needs, and learning style.

My goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where every child feels empowered, valued, and capable.

 Who I Help

I specialise in working with primary-aged children, offering support for:

  • Dyslexia
  • Reading and spelling difficulties
  • Writing confidence and fluency
  • Literacy skill development

Stretching and Challenging Able Learners

In addition to supporting children with literacy difficulties, I also work with high-achieving and able learners who benefit from targeted challenge and enrichment.

This includes:

  • Stretching critical thinking, comprehension, and vocabulary
  • Developing advanced writing skills
  • Boosting exam technique and confidence

11+ entrance exams

I offer tailored preparation for 11+ entrance exams, helping children feel confident, well-prepared, and supported through:

  • Verbal reasoning and comprehension practice
  • Creative and persuasive writing coaching
  • Interview preparation and study strategies

Every child is different—and I take care to balance academic challenge with emotional support, ensuring bright learners stay motivated and excited by learning.
